Today, D and I are taking off for the ever-popular tourist trek to "the Golden Triangle." This week-long trip will take us to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. I am thrilled to get to see the Taj Mahal in the flesh. We are timing our arrival to the mythic monument for sunrise -- we are aware of the cliches of such a landmark, but simply cannot help ourselves. It's like Christmas eve here in our apartment.
Hopefully, this whirl-wind trip will bring us new tastes, as well as jaw-dropping moments -- India really shows you the infinite capacity of human craftsmanship with its insane temples, carvings, paintings and textiles. It will be great to see another slice of this awesome story.
