CHANGE YOUR KITCHEN ART, CHANGE YOUR LIFE

As I've mentioned before, D is on one hell of an organizational/building/fixing up the house bender.  It's freakin awesome!  He's really improved our pad, with a few weekends of serious elbow grease and rocking out to his audiobooks (He's currently listening to the Godfather, by Mario Puzo - arguably the best epic tale ever told!).  The other day I casually mentioned changing up the artwork we had in the kitchen, the spot where I spend a fair share of my time when at home.

We selected a few items and created a new visual vignette and I love it!  We've got my favorite of D's detailed ink paintings he did while we lived in India, rustic chopsticks clipped from a pho house in Danang Vietnam, a flashcard showing sultry lips I bought at an antique shop in SE Portland and ancestry paper from Southern Vietnam.  I've re-fallen in love with my petite kitchen largely due to this little collection of objets de'art.  I highly recommend small domestic changes, they may create a big impact!
