I watched the slaughterhouse video two months ago, and have not eaten a hamburger since. Maybe GROUND MEAT is more violent than an elegant, sugical cut. Given my mood? But I did by a brisket at Costco last night. I thought about Leela's SLOW COOKER and the bay leaf and the tender cultural memories that were integral to the meat and decided o invited some friends we shared many Sedars with....Someties culture tops consciousness.....But I don't regret staying burger free and probably burger less for a while. Leel's posts are an inspiration.
