The Mr. Mark Bittman. We had an amazing afternoon, on a food cart tour I planned -- In true Portland fashion, it started to rain and we ditched the cart idea (after sampling just a few items) and ducked into a lounge for some conversation. It was a remarkable couple of hours with someone I greatly admire. More to come on this story over on The Kitchn and Mark's blog, on his site.
