SAN FRANCISCO DREAMS

A couple weekends ago, I was able to spend time in San Francisco for work. As if I wasn't already in love with this colorful city, my visit was blessed with outrageously perfect sunny weather. I couldn't be happier bopping around this place on assignment and managed to shoot a couple rolls of film with my old pal, my Diana camera.

I love the resulting, dreamlike images for everything digital photography is not. They are playful, painterly, imperfect and romantic. Before Hipstimatic, before Instagram, before Lomo stuff was in style, there was the plastic Diana. My Dad gave me one when I was in middle school and I've been holding down that dinky plastic shutter ever since.
