Today I had the pleasure of meeting my jam hero, Ms. Suzanne Fuoco of
Pink Slip Jam. She is the jamminest lady in Portland, I swear. Her flavor concoctions are something of a fairy tale -- Suzanne blends roses with rhubarb and strawberries, Meyer lemon with Tahitian vanilla beans and cumquats with peony flowers. She shared a little of her magic with me this afternoon and I'm so looking forward to the in depth tour to run on The Kitchn in a few weeks. I'll keep you posted on that.
